Security officer — North Somerset

Requirements: • 1-2 years experience as a security guard • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours On a typical shift you will man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes; monitor the CCTV screens in the control room; control crowds and manage queues at events and entry gates; check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds; detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police; write up incident reports after any disturbance.
