We are recruiting: shuttering and concrete hand (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Carroll County, Illinois. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. On a typical shift you will cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer. You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
