Steward — Matazu

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steward in Matazu, Katsina State. The job is in a hotel kitchen. Day to day you will load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies; clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls. You should have: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Comfortable lifting heavy pots, pans and stock crates • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
