Vacancy available: precision welder (North Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Northampton County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
