Vacancy available: we are hiring a power float operator in City of Portsmouth, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Meals and transport allowance provided.
