Concrete labourer wanted in Walworth County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Walworth County, Wisconsin. You will work on a road and bridge project. You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Your main tasks: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
