Join our team: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Rowan County, North Carolina. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules On a typical shift you will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover.
