Now hiring: we are hiring a dogger in Covington County, Alabama. The job is at a container port. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket On the job you will handle: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Read lift plans and method statements before starting Full-time, day shift.
