Urgent requirement: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Tift County, Georgia. You will work at a precast concrete yard. On the job you will handle: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations Requirements: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
