Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Putnam County, Florida. You will be based at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely You will read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame.
