Now hiring: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Igbo-Etiti, Enugu State. On a typical shift you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. You should have: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends.
