Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furnace operator in Renville County, Minnesota. You will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
