We are recruiting: tig welder (Wales)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Wrexham, Wales. The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
