Immediate opening: sheet metal welder (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Peterborough, England. The role involves: • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
