Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Acadia Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a catering unit. Day to day you will sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations; wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils; mop the floors and wipe down kitchen surfaces and splashbacks; polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass. You should have: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
