Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Atlantic County, New Jersey. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
