Machinist wanted in Garko

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machinist in Garko, Kano State. On the job you will handle: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Part-time with flexible hours.
