Immediate opening: excavator operator (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an excavator operator in Haywood County, North Carolina. You will work at a plant hire yard. Day to day you will level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience.
