Gas pipeline fitter — Central Bedfordshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Central Bedfordshire, England. You will be based at a boiler and appliance service centre. On a typical shift you will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply. Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Able to read isometric and site drawings At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
