Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Smith County, Texas. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through On a typical shift you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion.
