Join our team: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Jersey County, Illinois. The role involves read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
