Milling machinist — Milton Keynes

We are recruiting: we are hiring a milling machinist in Milton Keynes, England. Your main tasks: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
