Immediate opening: we are hiring a demolition labourer in Keith County, Nebraska. The job is with a civil contractor. You should have: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Physically fit and comfortable working at height Day to day you will cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
