Safety inspector — King and Queen County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety inspector in King and Queen County, Virginia. The job is at a busy construction site. Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training On a typical shift you will stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
