House painter wanted in Santa Clara County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a house painter in Santa Clara County, California. You will be based on a residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Apply textured and weatherproof masonry coatings to exterior walls • Clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames Requirements: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
