Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Ocean County, New Jersey. Day to day you will install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
