Elevator technician — Gwinnett County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota You will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts.
