Bar bender and fixer wanted in Worth County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Worth County, Iowa. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Your main tasks: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Overtime paid at a premium rate.
