Heavy equipment operator (dozer) wanted in Northampton County

Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Northampton County, North Carolina. You will be based at a busy earthworks site. The role involves: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
