Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Vernon County, Missouri. The job is at a food processing plant. You should have: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts On a typical shift you will trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
