Fettler wanted in Bon Homme County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fettler in Bon Homme County, South Dakota. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry On the job you will handle: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
