Join our team: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Northumberland, England. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work On the job you will handle: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
