Now hiring: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Day-to-day duties: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
