Now hiring: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Cherokee County, North Carolina. The job is at a high-rise construction project. Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day to day you will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
