Toolroom milling operator • Sweet Grass County, Montana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Sweet Grass County, Montana. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Full-time with occasional weekends.
