Domestic gas engineer • Granville County, North Carolina

Join our team: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Granville County, North Carolina. You will run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
