We are recruiting: uPVC welding machine operator (Illinois)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Logan County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter You should have: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $26 per hour, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
