CO2 welder — City of Fredericksburg

Join our team: we are hiring a CO2 welder in City of Fredericksburg, Virginia. Day to day you will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. You should have: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
