Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, England. You will work in a job-work machining unit. Day to day you will write and edit G-code programs at the control; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Full-time, day shift.
