Glass and glazing technician wanted in Newton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Newton County, Texas. The job is on a construction site. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools an advantage • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves The role involves: • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
