Tiling assistant • Sunflower County, Mississippi

Join our team: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Sunflower County, Mississippi. You will work on a residential construction site. On a typical shift you will check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter. What we are looking for: • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
