Vacancy available: argon welder (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Mills County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
