Gtaw welder — Thurston County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Thurston County, Nebraska. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
