Immediate opening: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. You will be based at a land-clearing site. Day to day you will work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid. Requirements: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
