Tracked excavator operator — Northampton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Northampton County, North Carolina. You will carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains. You should have: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
