Fabricator-welder — Brown County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Brown County, Minnesota. You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety On the job you will handle: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
