Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Barber County, Kansas. You will work on a high-rise tower crane. Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Current medical and eyesight certificate Your main tasks: • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports 1+ years on the tools preferred.
