Machine operator (earthworks) wanted in Clayton County

Now hiring: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Clayton County, Iowa. You will be based at a road and highway construction project. What we are looking for: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites You will carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
