Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Tioga County, New York. The job is in a car refinishing workshop. You should have: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing You will sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting; mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
