Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety marshal in Brevard County, Florida. You will work at a manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Day to day you will run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements.
